And Jen, I really hope you enjoy reading Whale Song. It is my "heart book" for many reasons, one being that the main legend in the story is one I grew up with, and another being that Whale Song was the only book my brother Jason read before he was murdered and the first thing I saw when I went to clean out his room. Whale Song is dedicated to Jason and a portion from every sale goes to 3 nonprofits to help combat homelessness, poverty and addictions.

Cheryl: I'd not heard that story of your brother before. Wow. I'm really glad you're doing that with some of the profits. To have something of value come out of such a tragedy is really important.
