I should get to close to 50 books read this year! Wow!!!!
Thanks so much for this opportunity. I look forward to doing this again starting July 1, 2012.

Up to 19. If anyone is interested, the Elizabeth Rex review links to details about a just-opened production of the play in Montreal.
They Shall Inherit the Earth by Morley Callaghan is the eleventh book for my personal challenge which is to read 13 books by Canadian authors who are no longer living.

Man Overboard puts me at 46/13. Might be able to get a few more in before clsing date (or not!)
Broken Circle brings me to 34/13. I wonder if I can get to 39 ( 3 X challenge goal) by the end of the month.

Hi John. Now at 43. I wonder if I can squeeze a few more in? Hmm.....
I reviewed the Middle Grade title Small Medium at Large, bringing me up to 12 titles!
This is likely my last book for this challange #21. Looking forward to the next one!
Ann's 5th and 6th reviews above.
Okay now this makes me laugh. When I was doing my little review for Red Rooms, I couldn't remember how I came to know about the book enough to go out and order it. NOW I remember! It was all due to John the Enabler's last challenge! I found the book while exploring all of those publishers' links! This book was published by Theytus Books.
I'm at 35/39 now.
John the Enabler. *snerk*
I'm up to 12/13. Yay! I think I can squeeze one more in before Canada Day!
Ok, now I'm at 19
Klee Wyck is #12 out of 13 for my personal challenge to read 13 books by Canadian authors who have gone to the great library in the sky.
Woot! 13 books so far (that might be it for this challenge)
Up to 22/13 (including a couple of story collections by Carol Shields). Definitely winding down for this challenge but looking forward to the next one.
Just found out the author of Girl in the Clockwork Collar (Kady Cross) was a Canadian so I linked up my review. Bringing me to 13!
I've hit an even 100. Slowed down a little on my Canadian reading in the last few months, but that seems a nice round number to leave it at.
I'll save the rest of my pile for the next challenge.
22 now!
48!
Book 23: The English Patient
Hello John

The summary post is here

A RED HERRING WITHOUT MUSTARD, Alan Bradley
THE HANGMAN, Louise Penny
A TRICK OF THE LIGHT, Louise Penny
BAD BOY, Peter Robinson
THE WEED THAT STRINGS THE HANGMAN'S BAG, Alan Bradley
A BREWSKI FOR THE OLD MAN, Phyllis Smallman
THE SUSPECT, L.R. Wright
IN DESPERATION, Rick Mofina
ACTS OF MURDER, Laurali R. Wright
SKELETONS IN THE CLOSET & Other Creepy Stories, Cheryl Kaye Tardif
BEFORE THE POISON, Peter Robinson
THE BURNING EDGE, Rick Mofina
APRIL FOOL, William Deverell
With The Taken I have completed my Canadian reading for the Challenge and finished at 15 books. Thank you for hosting the Challenge. It has promoted my reading of Canadian books.
Pooker: John the Enabler sounds better than John the Pusher, so I'll take it.
I just added two more, putting my total at 17.
And I did it. Tempest-Tost by Robertson Davies is my thirteenth read for my personal challenge which was to read 13 books by Canadians who are dead. I decided on this challenge after last year's results showed that no-one had read anything by Robertson Davies. I thought perhaps we forget about authors who are no longer producing literary works and I think that would be a shame. Davies and others should live on in the Canadian psyche.
Hi John,
I am at 48 books reviewed and read. I should be at 50 by the end of the challenge.
Irene
John, I've snuck in one more making a total of 49 books.
13/13 Yay!!!! I did it, just in time too!
My final total for the challenge is 20!
12/13 ! still aiming to complete the 13 :)

i've really loved this challenge and will def carry on if you are continuing to host for another year..
At 36 now.
I'm done! I made it to 14. Fourteen! This would surely put a smile on Alex Trebek's face.
So happy to have ended the challenge on a high note: Running in the Family by Michael Ondaatje.
I've written and posted The Annual Canadian Book Challenge today to let my readers know about it & invite them to sign up for this next yr..
Hoping that's ok with you - everything links to you here, so they won't think i'm hosting it!
Hey John -- I am currently at 26. I'm hoping to squeeze in one more review, but who knows......looking forward to Challenge 6!
I posted my review of Through Black Spruce by Joseph Boyden this morning. That brings my total bto 13. Just in the nick of time!
I finally made it..13/13. Thanks, John!

Final count for me is 45. I though I'd could squeeze one more in, but doesn't look like I can. Oh well, a new one starts in a few hours!

So, my 1st ever CRC completed on time & anticipating the next... Thx John!
