Reading "419" right now! And I even started it BEFORE the Giller Winner was announced, because I was intrigued after reading the other reviews on this site. About 3/4 finished and quite enjoying it. A review shall follow in a day or two.
I'm yet to launch in this challenge. Though I have read some books, awaiting reviews. I did want to share a post on my blog where I have posted two videos of my daughter introducing authors Evan Munday and Allan Stratton. These are from the Eden Mills Writer's Festival September 2012.
And I think I'm finally caught up in reviews. Read 30/13 so far. Now I can get caught up in reading reviews, so you know my TBR list can grow even bigger.
With 419 and The Story Girl, I'm at #s 26 & 27. And more to come! Holy smoke - there are *lot* of Canadian books all around. And all these reviews by others make the want-t-read list longer & longer & longer... :-) ~Barb in B.C.
I just added my 3rd review, which puts me in the Donair category which is awesome because I love Donair. I have a couple other Canadian books in the queue for this month though, so I may not stay at this level. Have to see how November goes.
Got lucky on that one, just narrowly escaped having to own a book about Paul Martin (sigh of relief). The way is open now though for those who have been waiting. Link #60 is gonna be the winner!
