Sweetland makes it 3/13. What an amazing read this was.

I finished Tanya Huff's Valor series, so that's 3 more reviews on Goodreads, and I reviewed one Monica Hughes book on my blog.

I believe that brings me up to 6/13. Getting a good head start on the year!

The Tin Flute is 3/13. I'll probably try to catch up with some reviews of Canadian poetry. It may be a while until my next scheduled Canadian book (Munro's Something I've Been Meaning to Tell You incidentally).

HI John, posted my first link today, Blindsight by Peter Watts. 1/13
Not sure what happened with my last year, but I fizzled out after about 6 books and never got back on stride. Aiming to do better this year and actually write the reviews for what I read. Thanks again for hosting this challenge which has made me aware of some many more terrific Canadian authors.

I disappeared from all sites but my own blog and Goodreads but did finish a few Canadian novels. Our young, vibrant cat unexpectedly died. Although peacefully at home and likely internal / unfixable (no blame), it's very sad to accept. For us, cats = better than people. I wanted to explain and am of course grateful forever to any kind word of comfort.

Strangely, my subscribers and participants don't seem to have noticed the news; it must be because it's summer. If you would (rather than here) direct your words to my blog, where I'm sure to see them; I can keep them with Love's eulogy post. I'll catch up with all of you when I churn through a plethora of reviews. Your Friend, Carolyn. http://cmriedel.wordpress.com/2014/09/02/loveyandthreesiblings/
