I hope to review Mad Shadows by Marie-Claire Blais in Sept., but it might end up being Oct. (given how long it is taking me to read The Night Stages).

Anyway, in case I can't get to the review by Sept. 24, I am doing a give-away of this book on my blog. (It's a shameless plug, but I thought some folks here would be interested.)

Details here: http://erics-hangout.blogspot.ca/2015/09/post-500-blais-mad-shadows-give-away.html

I did two reviews in one post, but there weren't enough characters to include both titles in my link. The Truth Commission by Susan Juby, and We Are All Made of Molecules, by Susin Nielsen bring my total up to 4/13.

Hi John and all,

I am at 20/13.

I had a lot of fun this month reading the works of Joni Mitchell and Neil Young. I also fulfilled the Canadian Book challenge for this month!

Happy fall all!
